Ask ChatGPT who the best in your trade is.See if it says your name.
More people are asking ChatGPT and Google’s AI to recommend someone, instead of scrolling through search results. It names three or four businesses. If you’re not one of them, that customer never hears of you. Most businesses have never checked.
It's not a list of ten links any more.
Google used to give ten results and a second page. ChatGPT gives one answer with a few names in it. There's no page two.
A long list. Being fourth still got you seen. The customer looked through and picked.
The AI picks for them. It names a few businesses, and the customer never sees the ones it left out.
Four things decide whether it names you.
You get the results whether or not you work with us afterwards.
Who does it recommend?
We ask the AI who the best tradesman for your job is in your town, and write down who it names. We ask more than once, because it doesn't give the same answer every time.
Can it see your website?
Some websites accidentally block these AI tools, or are missing the behind-the-scenes information they read. If so, the AI can't recommend you, however good you are.
Are your details the same everywhere?
If your business name, address or phone number is different on Google, Facebook, Checkatrade and your website, the AI gets less sure about you and names someone else.
Does anyone else mention you?
Reviews, directories, local news. If the only place talking about you is your own website, the AI is less likely to trust it.
Properly, with proof.
Ask ChatGPT the same question twice and you can get two different answers. So one screenshot proves nothing.
- We agree the questions with you before we start
- We ask each question three times, on each AI tool
- We go with the answer that comes up most
- Every result comes with a dated screenshot
- Promise it'll recommend you
Nobody controls these tools. We promise to check properly and show you what we found.
- Buy fake reviews or mentions
It gets caught, and it makes things worse.
- Sell you something you don't need
If you're already showing up fine, we'll tell you.
- Promise you a number of calls
Fewer people find tradesmen this way than through Google today. It's growing, but we won't make up a number.
What people ask before booking a check.
Including the answers you might not like.
What do I get?
A report in plain English. Whether the AI tools recommend you, who they recommend instead, why, and a list of what to fix first. Every result has a dated screenshot so you can see it for yourself.
Which AI tools do you check?
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Google's AI answers at the top of search. We ask each question three times on each one and go with the answer that comes up most, because they don't always say the same thing.
Isn't this just SEO?
Not quite. SEO is about where you sit in Google's list of links. This is about whether the AI names you in its answer, where it usually only names three or four businesses. Some of the work overlaps. The goal is different.
Can you guarantee it'll recommend me?
No, and nobody honestly can. We don't control these tools. We promise to check properly, show you the proof and tell you what to fix.
How long does it take?
The check takes a few days. Fixing what it finds takes longer. Some things are quick, but getting other websites to mention you can take months. The report tells you which is which.
What if it says I'm already fine?
Then you know, and you've got the proof. We won't try to sell you work you don't need.
Do you need access to my website?
Not for the check. We look at it from the outside, the same way the AI does. If you want us to fix things afterwards, we'll need access then.
Your competitor might already be the one it recommends.
Tell us your trade and your town. We’ll tell you where you stand.
